What you will do

• Design and implement mission gameplay to ensure strong pacing, clarity, and player engagement.
• Own mission development from concept through final implementation, including scripting and population work.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, art, and animation to integrate missions into the broader game experience.
• Translate design direction into functional gameplay using scripting systems, state machines, and event-driven logic.
• Identify, debug, and resolve gameplay and scripting issues.
• Iterate on mission content based on playtests, feedback, and data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game development, focusing on mission, systems, or technical design.
• Proven experience shipping content involving mission or gameplay systems.
• Strong proficiency with visual scripting tools and gameplay implementation workflows.
• Working knowledge of C++ and core programming concepts.
• Deep understanding of state machines, event systems, and gameplay logic.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
