What you will do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to technology planning and engineering strategy.
• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy AI applications using enterprise APIs, LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI orchestration.
• Implement prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic AI design patterns.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise systems, ensure compliance, security, and governance.
• Troubleshoot issues, mentor engineers, and stay current with AI advancements.

Requirements

• 4+ years software engineering experience.
• 2+ years with Generative AI, LLMs, foundation models.
• 2+ years Python development.
• 2+ years REST API, Docker, Kubernetes, Git workflows.
• 2+ years with GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Onsite in Charlotte, NC; W2 employment only.

Nice to have

• Cloud security principles (IAM, encryption, network).
• Regulated industries experience, technical lead/architect roles.
• Power Platform, UiPath, OpenAI/Anthropic/Google Gemini.
• Vector databases (Elasticsearch, Pinecone), LLM evaluation, AI observability.
