What you will do

• Develop end-to-end agentic AI systems using Python, Go, and Java, including EKS deployment and memory systems.
• Define and advance the Enterprise Agentic AI and developer platform architecture through practical implementations.
• Build multi-agent orchestration patterns (planner, executor, reviewer) using frameworks like LangGraph or MCP.
• Architect data flywheels to improve agent quality through telemetry, benchmarking, and automated evaluation.
• Embed security guardrails, sandbox isolation, and policy enforcement into AI runtimes for payment systems.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party agent platforms and drive build-vs-use decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with hands-on coding in Python, Go, or Java.
• Proven track record in constructing agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Expert-level depth in Kubernetes (EKS), service mesh (Istio), and containerized workloads.
• Experience creating benchmarking, telemetry, and observability systems (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Must be located in San Francisco, CA to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-native developer platforms or cross-repo context engines (vector databases, code embeddings).
• Background in blockchain, payments infrastructure, or the XRPL/RLUSD ecosystem.
• Meaningful open-source contributions as a core committer or maintainer.
• Familiarity with formal methods like TLA+ or property-based testing.
