What you will do

• Design and implement production-grade neuro-symbolic systems for formal reasoning and GenAI integration.
• Build and run reinforcement learning pipelines (GRPO, PPO, DPO) to optimize models for reasoning tasks.
• Run experiments measuring quality, latency, and cost across model sizes and strategies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, science teams, and customers to translate requirements into features.
• Enhance formal reasoning for GenAI applications like hallucination detection and automated guardrails.
• Own science lifecycle from research to deployment, defining metrics for performance and impact.
• Publish at top venues, file patents, or contribute open-source to advance neuro-symbolic AI.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's + 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related
• Experience in patents or top-tier publications
• Programming in Java, C++, Python or similar
• Experience investigating, designing, prototyping, and delivering innovative solutions
• US work authorization (implied by locations and benefits)
