What you will do

• Perform factory acceptance tests and validate manufacturing processes for DUV laser systems.
• Execute functional tests, optical alignment, equipment calibration, and station setup.
• Troubleshoot complex software-driven electronic systems using oscilloscopes, voltage probes, and multi-meters.
• Analyze and trend data from functional databases to recommend production and design improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to support special tests and experiments.
• Document parameters critical to product quality and maintain specialized test equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics desired.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in engineering, technical systems, and physics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
• Must be based on-site in San Diego, CA.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience working with precision optical components.
• Proficiency with Automated Testing Equipment or LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Experience with electro-optical or opto-mechanical systems and environmental testing.
