What you will do

• Lead end-to-end research projects from hypothesis formulation through analysis and communication.
• Analyze large-scale, longitudinal physiological and behavioral datasets to identify meaningful patterns.
• Develop and evaluate models that characterize individual variability and predict physiological states.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product direction and algorithm development.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to ensure research alignment with real-world use cases.
• Mentor junior scientists and define research standards and best practices across the team.

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative or health-related field (e.g., Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science).
• Strong background in health science and experience modeling longitudinal or time-series data.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning methods, and Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with probabilistic methods, Bayesian inference, and/or causal inference.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be prepared to relocate to Boston, MA
