What you will do

• Design and evolve Databricks Lakehouse architecture focusing on scalability, cost efficiency, reliability, and AI enablement.
• Define tiered data ecosystem with maturity layers from raw ingestion to analytics-ready data.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models optimized for AI consumption and reusability.
• Establish standards for metadata, lineage, data quality, governance, and security through automation.
• Integrate data from diverse sources using streaming and batch pipelines with tools like dbt, Spark, Kafka.
• Mentor teams, lead workshops, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders on AI-automated solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years tech experience, 5+ years architecting big data strategies
• 5+ years with cloud data platforms (Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, Spark)
• 1+ year with AI orchestration or automated modeling
• Deep knowledge of data modeling (Erwin, 3NF, star schema), medallion architectures, ETL, data warehousing
• Experience with Big Data tech (Hadoop, NoSQL), pipelines (dbt, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Spark Streaming), Kafka
• Strong data governance, lineage, compliance; cost/performance optimization
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related
