What you will do

  • Own QA activities within the team, including test environment setup and maintenance for manual and automated tests.
  • Update embedded software on target platforms and develop test specifications from requirement documents.
  • Create and maintain Python automation test scripts, analyze outcomes, and conduct failure investigations.
  • Support bug analysis, verify resolutions, and collaborate with developers on test setups and issue fixes.
  • Execute automated and manual tests in simulated and embedded environments for automotive software.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, functional and non-functional testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, agile projects, Android platforms, Git, and Jira or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, with strong prioritization and structured approach.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of speech applications or speech recognition testing.
  • Experience in Agile/SCRUM and quality standards like ASPICE.
  • Skilled in test management tools like TestRail.
