What you will do

• Serve as subject matter expert on gynecologic etiologies of HMB and its relation to anemia, plus conditions like vaginal dysbiosis.
• Develop and manage portfolio of investments aligned with WHI gynecology strategy, ensuring optimal impact.
• Lead initiatives on HMB and menstrual health: assess data gaps, treatment efficacy, access barriers, and develop guidelines/policies.
• Drive POC AI-guided ultrasound development for gynecologic use cases, collaborating with internal teams.
• Advance biologic understanding of conditions like HMB and bacterial vaginosis to inform product development.
• Build networks with stakeholders and explore opportunities in other gynecologic conditions like fibroids and endometriosis.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD and/or PhD) in gynecology or adjacent area.
• 10+ years in women’s health product development, research of gynecologic conditions, or clinical care including HMB and BV.
• Experience designing/implementing clinical trials for product development, preferably HMB.
• Critical assessment of epidemiological, population, and clinical trial data.
• Strong knowledge of global networks/professional societies (e.g., FIGO) and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into strategies and navigate complex environments; up to 30% global travel required.

Nice to have

• Experience in product development, research, or clinical care in LMICs and understanding of LMIC healthcare systems.
