Clinical Development Medical Director (Breast Oncology)

Location: United States – Washington – Bothell; hybrid role requiring residence within commuting distance and on-site work an average of 2.5 days per week

Annual base salary: $239,900–$399,800, plus a 25% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Support clinical trials and lead clinical development subteams within the prifetrastat program.
• Conduct medical monitoring, including eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
• Lead peer-to-peer interactions with investigators and serve as the clinical point of contact for study teams, ethics committees, steering committees, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain clinical trial and regulatory documents with Clinical Scientists and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with the Global Development Team to refine development strategies and interpret clinical data.
• Represent clinical development in external engagements, joint collaborations, and Marketing Authorization Application subteams.

Requirements

• Primary medical degree such as MD, DO, MBBS, or MBChB from a recognized medical school or university.
• At least 4 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in clinical research and development.
• License from a licensing body or health authority to prescribe medicines independently, held for at least 2 years after internship, house officer, or foundation training.
• Experience in clinical trials, clinical development programs, health authority interactions, and leadership.
• Board certification or eligibility in oncology, or equivalent, is preferred.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of breast oncology experience.
• Late-phase clinical development experience.
• Experience influencing and collaborating with peers, coaching colleagues, and guiding cross-functional work.
