Product Manager (Trading)

TL;DR

Product Manager – Trading (Crypto): Bridge mathematical models and scalable production code for pricing, risk models, and core trading engine logic with an accent on execution logic, market simulations, and TradFi/CeFi/DeFi integration. Focus on prototyping with Python/SQL, writing functional specs, and validating features through testing.

What you will do

• Define and manage Trading product roadmap focusing on execution logic, pricing engines, and risk parameters.
• Build complex market simulations and prototypes using Python and SQL to validate hypotheses.
• Write detailed functional specifications and use-cases for trading features.
• Gather requirements from internal teams and external partners to align on product vision.
• Oversee testing and validation of new features to ensure mathematical accuracy.
• Create technical demos and content for Marketing and Sales enablement.
• Develop and refine mathematical models, translating them for developers into production code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar quantitative field.
• Strong product mindset shifting from engineering to strategy, user experience, and business growth.
• Proficiency in Python for prototyping and SQL; understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistics.
• Solid knowledge of option pricing models, market microstructure, and derivative trading.
• Exceptional communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AMMs, liquidity pools, or CeFi exchanges.
• TradFi experience with high-frequency trading systems or matching engines.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Agile methodologies.
• Passion for blockchain transforming traditional finance.
