What you will do

• Lead the M&P program support team, managing personnel, priorities, and performance.
• Own the end-to-end qualification strategy, including defining test plans and certification pathways.
• Oversee internal and external test campaigns to ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance.
• Act as the primary interface for program leadership and government stakeholders on qualification matters.
• Coordinate with vehicle engineering, manufacturing, flight sciences, and quality teams.
• Manage qualification risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain program timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace materials engineering, qualification testing, or program management.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with ITAR eligibility requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and lift more than 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• 6+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience leading certification efforts for aerospace or defense programs.
• Deep understanding of material systems for high-performance environments.
• Familiarity with MIL, NASA, and ASTM qualification standards.
