What you will do
- Lead the M&P program support team, managing personnel, priorities, and performance.
- Own the end-to-end qualification strategy, including defining test plans and certification pathways.
- Oversee internal and external test campaigns to ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance.
- Act as the primary interface for program leadership and government stakeholders on qualification matters.
- Coordinate with vehicle engineering, manufacturing, flight sciences, and quality teams.
- Manage qualification risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain program timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in materials science, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace materials engineering, qualification testing, or program management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with ITAR eligibility requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and lift more than 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Nice to have
- 6+ years of experience in the field.
- Experience leading certification efforts for aerospace or defense programs.
- Deep understanding of material systems for high-performance environments.
- Familiarity with MIL, NASA, and ASTM qualification standards.
