Location: Sterling, VA (onsite, Herndon area). Requires TS/SCI with Poly on day one.

What you will do

• Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and Java for data validation and application functionality.
• Perform manual testing when automation is impractical or not desirable.
• Engineer tests to evaluate developer assignments, best path scenarios, and potential failure conditions.
• Support performance and load testing in collaboration with application developers using tools like JMeter.
• Write test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios; conduct and report testing using repeatable processes.
• Maintain and update the test environment, ensuring QA references known vulnerabilities and best practices.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required on day one.
• Experience with SQL queries for data validation (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).
• Expert in Selenium WebDriver with emphasis on writing automated code in Java (not click-and-record).
• Ability to use an IDE (IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans) and interact in Linux environment (Bash scripting, vi).
• Expertise in writing test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios.
• Demonstrated history with manual and automated test processes; development skills for coding tests.
• Ability to work in constantly evolving environment.
