What you will do

  • Act as the technical owner of the KVS/KVSIFS platform, primarily managing the Delphi/Object Pascal codebase.
  • Ensure high availability and resilience through incident management, root cause analysis, and 2nd/3rd line support.
  • Maintain the Windows-based desktop application, handling defect resolution, minor enhancements, and technical debt.
  • Optimize Azure SQL databases, focusing on stored procedures, data integrity, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to improve scalability, observability, and hosting patterns.
  • Manage application integrations with REST APIs, external audit platforms, and payment systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Delphi / Object Pascal in enterprise applications.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including performance tuning.
  • Proven experience maintaining VCL-based applications and legacy codebases in production.
  • Experience delivering solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom

Nice to have

  • Ability to read and converse in Dutch.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#, and MVC-based application patterns.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and containerization.
  • Experience with DevExpress frameworks or FireDAC for database connectivity.
