What you will do

• Generate strategic big ideas and narratives addressing client challenges through design thinking and execution.
• Develop packaging design intent and production artwork files, handling die lines, rollovers, type specs, and copy safety zones.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Design Directors, and teams to solve business problems and bring strategies to life on time.
• Art direct photo shoots and illustrations, create briefs, and improve processes for efficiency.
• Prepare clear client presentations, articulate design rationale, and connect work to strategic frameworks.
• Mentor junior designers and participate in reviews, brainstorming, and team culture.

Requirements

• Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 6+ years of experience in packaging and/or brand design
• Expert fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong knowledge of print production techniques, finishes, and separations
• Well-rounded portfolio with typography, photography, illustration, sketching, and design methodology
• Computer literacy in iOS, Windows, Keynote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
