What you will do

• Design and operate EMR integration services using HL7 FHIR APIs and patterns for Epic, MyChart, and others
• Build secure APIs with authentication, authorization, audit trails, and least-privilege access
• Use Databricks/Apache Spark for data pipelines, jobs, and Delta Lake to support integrations
• Produce developer documentation including OpenAPI specs, guides, and runbooks
• Lead code/design reviews, mentor engineers, and unblock the team
• Implement testing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and partner cross-functionally

Requirements

• 5+ years building/operating production software with senior/staff-level ownership of complex systems
• Strong skills in Java/Kotlin, TypeScript/Node.js, Python or similar
• Hands-on EMR/EHR integration experience
• Cloud-native services on AWS/Azure/GCP with Kubernetes deployments
• OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, JWT, secrets management, secure SDLC
• CI/CD, IaC, observability, logging/metrics/tracing, incident response
• Databricks: jobs, workflows, notebooks, Delta Lake, pipelines
• Strong communication for technical designs and stakeholder presentations
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent
