What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops to define analyst augmentation in practical terms and prioritize high-value workflows.
• Audit Databricks data assets, pipelines, and governance; prepare AI-ready datasets with metadata and semantic layers.
• Design, prototype, and implement AI agents using Databricks tools like Genie and Unity Catalog.
• Define guardrails for security, cost control, and hallucination prevention; evaluate performance against human benchmarks.
• Support pilot deployments, measure business impact, and contribute to ROI and scaling recommendations.
• Help define the roadmap from proof-of-concept to production.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics platform delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks including Unity Catalog and governed data access.
• Experience with SQL, analytical data models, data governance, security, and access control.
• Experience designing or working with AI/LLM-based solutions in analytics context.
• Ability to translate business workflows into technical/AI solutions; strong stakeholder communication with analysts.
• Experience with semantic layers, metadata management, AI agent design, prompt engineering, benchmarking AI vs. human.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated reporting or anomaly detection.
• Knowledge of cost monitoring/optimization for AI/analytics workloads.
• Experience defining operating models (human-in-the-loop vs. autonomous AI).
• Background in large-scale consumer/retail organizations.
• Consulting/advisory experience in analytics or AI transformation.
