What you will do

• Design and implement patterns for legacy displacement to move domains out of the monolith with zero downtime.
• Build new services and facilitate the transition of existing systems from .NET to Spring.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and shape a roadmap that balances technical debt with new value.
• Monitor system health and ensure backend performance using Grafana and modern tracing.
• Leverage Agentic programming tools (such as Claude Code) to accelerate refactoring and development workflows.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in backend systems with a strong focus on Java and Spring.
• Proven track record of breaking down monoliths and managing complex system migrations.
• Comfortable working with event-driven systems and navigating multiple codebases (including .NET and Go).
• Strong commitment to quality, including the implementation of Unit, Integration, and E2E test suites.
• Practical expertise in React is highly welcomed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across timezones (Europe and US).
