What you will do

• Underwrite and grow the Energy and Construction book of business profitably within the risk appetite.
• Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships.
• Assess risks, coverage, terms, and conditions, driving related underwriting processes, and ensuring appropriate risk management when in a lead position.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies for the region.
• Support the growth of associated lines of business by actively cross-selling the capabilities and contributing to the development of tailored solutions for clients' needs.
• Develop the Underwriting strategy, guidelines, standards, processes and tools to support this goal.

Requirements

• A degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years engineering underwriting experience in the Renewable Energy sector.
• Validated experience as a project engineer, including testing/commissioning responsibilities of large renewable projects.
• Strong broker and client network.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• The legal right to live and work in Spain
