Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

What you will do

• Manage month-end close for overhead accounts, including accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare overhead reports and provide commentary to assist budget holders in cost management.
• Support commercial reporting through margin analysis, pricing reports, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with budget holders to prepare annual overhead budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Build the 2027 budget and track spending against the plan.
• Act as a finance partner to non-finance colleagues to improve their understanding of financial performance.

Requirements

• Experience with overheads, month-end close, and overhead reporting.
• Proficiency in variance analysis for commercial purposes.
• Background in manufacturing or previous contracting experience.
• Ability to work independently and a natural curiosity for data.
• Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bristol office.
