TL;DR

Data Analyst (E-commerce): Own the end-to-end analytics workflow for app product and business teams, transforming transactional and behavioral data into actionable insights with an accent on applied statistics, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Focus on conducting deep dives into product datasets, building advanced dashboards, and generating hypotheses to guide experimentation and decision-making.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid, Spain (60% office time, 40% remote), option to work 20 days abroad in approved countries.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end analytics pipeline using transactional and behavioral data with applied statistics.
  • Conduct deep dives into product datasets for actionable insights supporting decisions.
  • Perform product discovery analysis to identify opportunities, generate hypotheses, and guide experiments.
  • Apply A/B testing, regression, and forecasting to analyze performance.
  • Develop dashboards and SQL reports to track KPIs.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and integrate multi-source insights.
  • Collaborate with product teams across lifecycle and foster data-driven culture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in data-driven product environment, preferably e-commerce
  • Strong analytical/statistical background, critical thinking, problem-solving.
  • Proven statistical techniques: A/B testing, regression, forecasting.
  • Advanced SQL (query optimization, large datasets, data marts), transactional analysis.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar for dashboards.
  • Strong communication for presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Adobe Analytics or similar digital tools.
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Statistics, Data Science, CS, Math or related preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with digital customer-facing products and event-based data.
  • Mobile app product data analysis.
  • Python or R for modeling/automation.
  • Cross-functional analytics projects impacting company-wide.
