What you will do

• Optimize user experience by eliminating friction in booking funnel, improving page load performance, and ensuring WCAG accessibility.
• Drive experimentation and growth through A/B tests, feature flags, and tracking conversion metrics.
• Own frontend architecture with hook-first patterns, modern state management, optimistic updates, and responsive interfaces.
• Ensure reliability and observability with Datadog RUM dashboards, error tracking, and production debugging.
• Champion testing with E2E tests (Playwright) and high component coverage (Vitest, React Testing Library).
• Implement secure integrations for authentication (Auth0) and payments (Stripe, Affirm) per PCI standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, mentor juniors, and challenge decisions with data.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional frontend experience with deep React knowledge (hooks, functional components; React 19 preferred).
• Strong TypeScript proficiency (strict mode, generics, type safety).
• Experience with modern state management (Zustand, TanStack Query) and Tailwind CSS.
• Track record with automated tests (Playwright, Vitest, React Testing Library).
• Hands-on with monitoring/experimentation tools (Datadog RUM, PostHog).
• Data-driven mindset, startup mentality, excellent communication.

Nice to have

• eCommerce/checkout flows or headless commerce (CommerceTools).
• Design systems, mobile-first implementation, component libraries (Material UI).
• Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals), GTM, GA4.
