Salary: $51,100 - $54,800 USD

What you will do

• Support chapters with SFS in accounting functions for accurate and timely processing.
• Commit donation batches to Salesforce and post to NetSuite general ledger.
• Review check requests, prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Record journal entries and prepare monthly financial reporting packages including variance reports.
• Review data, respond to chapter inquiries, and assist with annual audit preparation.
• Run custom reports in NetSuite or Excel and build relationships with chapters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimal accounting or financial reporting experience (1+ year helpful).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and audit processes.
• Effective communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Ability to thrive in remote environment; U.S. work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Salesforce and NetSuite.
• Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations.
