What you will do
- Draft and develop insurance contracts and policy forms according to product specifications and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with state insurance departments and regulatory agencies to secure form filing approvals.
- Partner with Product Development, Legal, Claims, and New Business to design compliant documentation.
- Manage, index, and maintain product filings within internal databases and SERFF/I-File platforms.
- Monitor regulatory and competitive developments that may impact the product development lifecycle.
- Act as a subject matter resource for marketing content, training materials, and producer communications.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on regulatory or product compliance.
- Expertise in drafting and maintaining insurance contracts, policy forms, and endorsements.
- Proficiency with regulatory filing systems such as SERFF and I-File.
- Familiarity with group life and health insurance products.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be based in the USA to coordinate with state insurance departments.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Paralegal certificate or relevant legal experience.
- Industry designations such as FLMI, AIRC, or ACS.
- Experience representing insurance carriers in industry associations.
