TL;DR

Insurance Product Analyst IV (State Product Management): Leading complex analysis to develop recommendations for growth and profitability in personal lines insurance products with an accent on market risks, data insights, and catastrophe risk quantification. Focus on building revenue plans, evaluating solutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement new products and processes.

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US. No visa sponsorship.

Salary: $110,700 - $147,500 (location-based) + up to 10% annual bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead complex analysis for actionable recommendations on growth and profitability targets in assigned states.
  • Assess market risks and opportunities, evaluate solutions, and maximize data insights to influence decisions.
  • Analyze large datasets using tools like Snowflake, SQL, Excel, and Essbase.
  • Quantify catastrophe risk and develop risk management strategies.
  • Build annual revenue plans and explain variances.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, and others on product development and implementation.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years analytical experience in related industry; Bachelor's in math, business, stats, economics, CS or equivalent.
  • Superior research, statistical, analytical, and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance, accounting, and rate-making concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask, mentor, and adapt presentations for stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree or CPCU designation.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Experience shaping company culture through ERGs or volunteering.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and invest extra time as needed.
