Okta Technical Consultant (Auth0 / CIAM): Implementing and deploying Auth0-based Customer Identity and Access Management solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on secure authentication flows, integrations, and identity experiences. Focus on designing scalable authentication using OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT, leading multiple deployments, and mentoring on CIAM best practices.

Location: Canada

Compensation: $41–$48 CAD/hour (contract till December 2026, 40 hours/week)

What you’ll do

• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Auth0 solutions
• Design and implement secure authentication flows including login, signup, social login, and passwordless
• Integrate applications using OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT-based authentication
• Build and customize identity experiences with Auth0 SDKs and APIs
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and modern web technologies across cloud-native and hybrid environments
• Manage multiple customer projects, mentor teams, collaborate on issue resolution, and contribute to best practices

Requirements

• Mandatory: Valid Auth0 Developer Certification
• 3–5 years of experience in IAM, CIAM, or application security
• Strong hands-on experience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT
• Proven experience with Auth0 implementations
• Strong development background (JavaScript, Node.js or similar)
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js etc.)
• Understanding of identity lifecycle and access management concepts
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of Auth0 features and CIAM use cases
• Experience with mobile authentication (iOS/Android)
• Familiarity with API security and microservices architectures
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of identity governance concepts
• CISSP or similar security certifications
