What you will do

• Build and maintain dashboards tracking cloud cost, capacity, and infrastructure efficiency across the fleet.
• Ingest and model billing and usage data from multiple cloud providers and internal infrastructure systems.
• Create canonical data models for capacity and usage across various dimensions and time grains.
• Partner with Infrastructure Engineering and Finance to define core metrics for cloud spend, unit economics, and cost allocation.
• Support forecasting and planning workflows by modeling historical usage and capacity trends.
• Develop alerting for anomalies in billing, tagging, and utilization data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, infrastructure analytics, or cloud cost management.
• Strong SQL skills for writing complex transformations across disparate datasets.
• Experience building clean, reusable data models and semantic layers in dbt.
• Working knowledge of AWS Cost and Usage Reports, GCP Billing Export, committed use discounts, and savings plans.
• Experience integrating raw data from APIs, cloud exports, and billing systems using Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Sigma and Hex.
