What you will do

• Design and extend software for large test systems incorporating multiple software levels.
• Develop operating software for capital equipment, factory information systems, and application software.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to diagnose and solve complex system problems.
• Coordinate with a global design team to implement and maintain software solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with C# .NET on Windows using Visual Studio.
• Solid experience developing distributed and multi-threaded applications.
• Expertise in Machine Vision, including geometrical optics, lenses, computer vision, and image processing.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design.
• Ability to work mostly on-site in North Reading, MA.
• Willingness to travel moderately within the US and to Southeast Asia.

Nice to have

• Experience with WPF, TCP/IP, or database programming.
• Knowledge of linear algebra or commercial vision software products.
• Background in the semiconductors or test equipment industry.
