What you will do

• Define and architect optical transceiver modules (1.6T and beyond) aligned with product requirements.
• Design high-speed PCB schematics including power, control, and signal interfaces.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration of optical, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Lead technical validation, bring-up, and performance optimization of optical transceivers.
• Support design validation, qualification, and root-cause analysis during development and production.
• Automate transceiver performance testing using Python, C++, or LabVIEW.

Requirements

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in optical transceiver design, fiber optics, and RF modulation.
• Hands-on experience with PCB schematic design, layout review, and high-speed opto-electrical systems.
• Proficiency with MSA and IEEE standards (e.g., QSFP, OSFP, CMIS).
• Experience testing transceiver performance, including TDECQ and PAM4/NRZ signaling.
• Must be based in the United States to be eligible for the provided benefits package.

Nice to have

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in optical transmission systems (TOSA/ROSA, Mach-Zehnder modulators).
• Experience in IC package design and high-speed SerDes (analog/DSP architectures).
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity analysis using HFSS or ADS.
• Familiarity with coherent and direct-detect optical systems.
