What you will do

• Design and implement C++ software systems for autonomous vehicle ride states and passenger interfaces on Linux.
• Develop backend cloud features to support end-to-end vehicle experience functionality.
• Optimize software for performance and reliability under strict vehicle resource constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX Design, Product Management, and QA.
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot complex system-level issues.

Requirements

• MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in modern C++ and Linux systems development.
• Experience with backend cloud systems.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing methodologies.
• Ability to translate UX requirements into technical implementations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of robotics, automotive, or embedded systems software.
• Experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware in production.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Python for distributed systems.
