Lead DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design and operate scalable cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Implement GitOps-driven CI/CD workflows integrating infrastructure automation with GitHub Actions.
• Automate microservices deployments across Azure and GCP to improve release speed and reliability.
• Embed DevSecOps practices and observability to reduce MTTR and improve pipeline visibility.
• Develop custom automation tooling using Python for provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Establish centralized version tracking and release visibility across global data centers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and platform engineering.
• Expertise in Kubernetes/OCP and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Java builds (Maven/Gradle) and deployment tools such as Harness.
• Proficiency in Python for build and CICD automation.
• Must be based in or able to work in Columbus, OH on a hybrid basis.
• Experience in large-scale regulated industries with a strong understanding of governance controls and audits.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible or Terraform.
• Knowledge of AI agentic frameworks.
• Kubernetes or DevOps certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
