What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year cloud infrastructure strategy on Microsoft Azure, balancing reliability, security, and cost.
• Lead the architecture and delivery of complex initiatives, including multi-region resilience and zero-trust networking.
• Provision cloud infrastructure using Pulumi (TypeScript/Python), creating reusable modules and guardrails.
• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Define and enforce organization-wide infrastructure standards, tagging policies, and cost governance.
• Partner with security teams to maintain HIPAA-compliant cloud configurations and audit controls.

Requirements

• 8+ years of cloud engineering or DevOps experience, with at least 5 years specifically on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience as a staff or principal engineer, leading cross-team initiatives and influencing architecture.
• Deep hands-on production experience with Pulumi (strongly preferred) or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Mastery of core Azure services including AKS, App Service, Key Vault, and Virtual Networks.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) in production environments.
• Deep familiarity with HIPAA compliance and zero-trust architecture.
