What you will do

• Design high-scale agentic systems and AI-native infrastructure, including vector database scaling and token-efficient caching.
• Lead the design of a reusable calculation engine framework for complex ICM workflows at enterprise scale.
• Define API contract standards, versioning strategies, and performance optimization for sub-second response times.
• Partner with Data Cloud teams to design high-throughput data connectivity and advanced analytics architectures.
• Architect infrastructure management patterns, cell-based deployment strategies, and database scaling using sharding and partitioning.
• Own the long-term data architecture, roadmap, and customer migration strategies for the Spiff platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years as a Software Engineering Architect for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Demonstrated success architecting high-performance calculation engines or financial transaction platforms.
• Proven ability to design and implement cell-based or multi-tenant architectures with robust data isolation.
• Extensive experience with database design, optimization, and distributed system performance tuning.
• Strong background in API design and building developer-facing platform services.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA

Nice to have

• Direct experience with hirify.global architecture, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, or Hyperforce.
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails and Elixir/Phoenix.
• Prior work on incentive compensation management (ICM) or billing systems.
• Experience with ML/AI model deployment and MLOps for production-grade systems.
