TL;DR

Technical Success Architect (IoT): Providing in-depth troubleshooting and research for Trimble Transportation products and TMS solutions with an accent on root cause analysis of hardware and software issues. Focus on resolving complex system failures across multiple operating systems and ensuring SLA/KPI compliance for enterprise customers.

Location: Remote (US). Must be based in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI.

Salary: $85,000 – $117,750

What you will do

• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and resolve hardware and software issues via CRM.
• Manage customer communication through phone, email, and chat regarding product usage and upgrades.
• Ensure individual and team SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.
• Collaborate with senior team members and internal departments to maintain visibility on ongoing issues.
• Prioritize inbound cases based on severity and customer impact.
• Contribute to internal documentation and suggest improvements for business processes and technical tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software and hardware troubleshooting or development.
• Demonstrated success with root cause analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in one of the supported US states (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI).
• Availability for occasional evening/weekend work and participation in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple operating systems: Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and Microsoft servers.
• Proficiency in SQL, XML, HTML, and scripting.
• Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence for bug tracking and documentation.
• Background in mobile or wireless communications troubleshooting.
• Operations experience within the transportation industry.
