What you will do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance independently or in crews.
• Execute instrumentation calibration and complex distributed control systems troubleshooting.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders in coordination with the Operations Center.
• Develop and document plant orders, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Ensure all work adheres to environmental and safety requirements, including LOTO and JHA documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Valid state driver’s license and a good driving record for company vehicle use.
• Ability to work overtime and non-standard hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).
• Relevant experience level: Level I (entry), Level II (1+ years), or Level III (4+ years) in PV solar or I&E/C&I electrical work.

Nice to have

• 2-year technical degree.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent qualifications.
