What you will do

  • Assist in month-end closing tasks for assigned legal entities in Asia (excluding China).
  • Liaise with the Shared Service Centre (SSC), external auditors, and tax agents to address statutory audit and tax queries.
  • Track and monitor SOX control evidence by coordinating with multiple control owners across different departments.
  • Coordinate user access reviews for internal systems and portals.
  • Manage the safeguarding and retention of legal documents and coordinate with the Company Secretary for statutory compliance.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 6 months.
  • Fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Cross-cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence.
