What you will do

• Represent the engineering team in customer meetings and drive technology roadmaps.
• Plan quarterly Agile Development commitments and prioritize delivery tickets in Jira.
• Supervise 5-7 direct reports, managing performance reviews and technical career planning.
• Oversee the modernization of Elastic, RHEL, WSUS, and cross-domain integration and automation.
• Plan and estimate staffing, software licensing, and hosting capacity for roadmap projects.
• Mentor senior, mid-level, and junior engineers to ensure technical growth and delivery excellence.

Requirements

• Clearance: SCI Eligible and willing to obtain polygraph.
• Location: Must work full-time on-site in Reston, VA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 8-12 years of technical experience, including 4+ years leading AWS Cloud and Linux production delivery.
• DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (e.g., Security+ and Cloud+ or CySA+).
• Experience working in classified Government environments and following Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Nice to have

• Active SCI with Polygraph.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• AWS or Linux professional certifications.
• Experience designing and deploying Elastic data services and classified systems.
• Technical management experience including performance reviews and supervisor roles.
