DevOps Engineer (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid in El Segundo, CA (2-3x a week in office)

Salary: $123,000 – $145,000 per year

What you will do

• Solve problems for mission-critical services and build automation to prevent recurrence.
• Design and deliver software to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of services.
• Monitor system alerts and troubleshoot errors to return systems to normal operating conditions.
• Perform periodic maintenance and participate in on-call duties for emergencies.
• Create and update high-quality technical documentation for systems and procedures.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of system, network, or software engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux systems and networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSH).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in El Segundo, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI automation tools like n8n or agentic AI.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, or Git.
• Experience with database platforms such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Splunk, or Snowflake.
• Background in the game industry.
