Salary: $130,000 - $155,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and implement backend integrations connecting engineering tools, production systems, and aircraft components like avionics data streams.
- Create intuitive frontend dashboards and user interfaces using modern web technologies for real-time aircraft monitoring and operations analysis.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds, and releases across development, staging, and production environments.
- Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to support scalable deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers and hardware teams to integrate DevOps practices into development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, backend development, or full-stack engineering.
- High proficiency with Linux/POSIX environments, shell scripting, and administration.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go, and experience with APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Kafka.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification (E-Verify).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industries.
- Familiarity with DoD standards, ITAR, or secure environments.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry.
