What you will do

• Design and implement backend integrations connecting engineering tools, production systems, and aircraft components like avionics data streams.
• Create intuitive frontend dashboards and user interfaces using modern web technologies for real-time aircraft monitoring and operations analysis.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, builds, and releases across development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to support scalable deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with software engineers and hardware teams to integrate DevOps practices into development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, backend development, or full-stack engineering.
• High proficiency with Linux/POSIX environments, shell scripting, and administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go, and experience with APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification (E-Verify).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in aerospace, defense, or similar high-tech industries.
• Familiarity with DoD standards, ITAR, or secure environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry.
