TL;DR

Technical Support & Implementation Specialist (Life Safety Equipment): Delivering technical support for life safety equipment product lines, resolving issues across hardware and software with an accent on customer service and troubleshooting. Focus on diagnosing complex technical problems case-by-case, guiding clients through solutions, and maintaining documentation.

Location: Remote (permanent work from home), 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM EST (Eastern Time, Florida, USA) – must align with client timezone; weekend shifts possible.

What you will do

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across all life safety equipment product lines
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to community partners and clients
  • Guide clients through structured troubleshooting steps and provide setup instructions
  • Install, configure, and support hardware and software systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all activities
  • Adapt to tools like Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams

Requirements

  • At least 2–3 years experience in customer service/technical support in voice-based BPO
  • Strong verbal English communication skills
  • Foundational JavaScript or basic scripting knowledge (read, interpret, minor modifications)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training
