Software Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack): Building web apps, back office systems, and tooling for financial product comparison platforms with an accent on full-stack development including React UIs, Node/Bun servers, APIs, databases, and infrastructure. Focus on integrating partner APIs, streamlining customer journeys, optimizing real-time metrics, and incorporating AI into workflows and core projects.

Hybrid: 2 days per week in our Tower Bridge office (Wednesdays & Thursdays), London

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality full-stack software alongside product managers, designers, data analysts, and senior engineers across the development lifecycle.
• Build responsive accessible React components aligned with design system, work with APIs, real-time metrics, alerting, databases, and security.
• Contribute to infrastructure, pipelines, servers, CDNs, monitoring, and flag opportunities for architecture and codebase improvements.
• Incorporate AI into workflows and projects as a business enabler using tools like Claude Code.

Requirements

• Hybrid work: 2 days per week in London Tower Bridge office (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
• Solid hands-on experience with Typescript and React.
• Working knowledge of Node/Bun ecosystem, package management, and tooling.
• Understanding of React paradigm, component design, state management, REST APIs, automated tests, web security (XSS, CORS, authentication), Git workflows.
• Collaborative mindset, receptive to feedback, comfortable reasoning through problems.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Storybook, component libraries, design systems.
