What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for API and data-driven applications.
• Implement automation-first testing strategies across backend, integration, and event-driven systems.
• Perform comprehensive API and database validation across PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB.
• Test and validate Kafka-based event flows to ensure data accuracy and downstream consistency.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to build quality into the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of testing experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on automation testing.
• Advanced proficiency in Java with a deep understanding of core concepts.
• Extensive experience with frameworks such as Cucumber, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Strong experience testing API-driven and data-intensive backend systems.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available, including CPT/OPT).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven microservices architectures.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
