Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, refine, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases for software functionalities.
• Perform thorough manual testing and critically identify potential edge cases.
• Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks and integrate them into the development pipeline.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Research and implement AI-based strategies for regression testing and DoD-accepted AI tools.
• Document, track, and verify software defects in collaboration with the development team.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and currently hold or be able to obtain a U.S. national security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• 3 years of experience using Selenium, Robot, TAF, or equivalent testing frameworks.
• 5 years of experience developing integration tests for Java-based web applications.
• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• CompTIA Linux+ certification or equivalent.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with Atlassian suite tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins and Fortify, and deployment tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
