What you will do

• Design technical solutions for complex SAP landscapes, including sizing, high-availability, and disaster recovery.
• Plan and execute OS/DB migrations, Unicode migrations, HANA transformations, and EHP upgrades.
• Implement and configure Edge Integration Cell environments and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Perform downtime-minimized OS patching using Pacemaker and manage HANA systems.
• Handle SAP system operations: database upgrades, kernel updates, transport management, performance monitoring, and error analysis.
• Provide technical advice on SAP systems and architectures, manage security patches and backups.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SAP Basis environments within heterogeneous landscapes
• In-depth expertise in SAP HANA and ASE database administration, installation, and replication
• Extensive experience in DB/OS migrations and SAP upgrades
• Proficient in Linux (SLES) and Unix shell programming
• Strong experience with high-availability solutions (Pacemaker, HANA System Replication)
• English: from Intermediate+ and above
• German: from Intermediate+ and above
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (storage, backup, network, virtualization)
