What you will do

• Engage in application support and coding activities while gaining insights into Fidelity's business models and applications.
• Undertake ad hoc programming tasks to support the Development Team.
• Collaborate with team members in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of features and functions within applications and APIs.
• Participate in documentation initiatives to create, enhance, and organize supported applications documentation.
• Evaluate and implement best practices for the team and organization.

Requirements

• Pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Business with technical proficiency, or related technical program, ideally third or fourth year.
• Must be in a registered co-op program.
• Must be available full-time for the entire co-op term.
• Keen interest and understanding of web development and APIs.
• Strong grasp of Internet programming languages: Java, .Net, Angular, HTML/HTML5, CSS libraries.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with scripting languages: Groovy, Perl, Linux/Unix shell, SQL/Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow.
