TL;DR
Test Automation Engineer (Playwright/Cypress): Design, develop, automate, and maintain end-to-end and integration tests for security software products with an accent on cross-team workflows and comprehensive test coverage. Location: 100% remote within Germany. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Germany (no visa sponsorship or support for work permits tied to student status).

What you will do
- Design, develop, automate, and maintain end-to-end and integration tests for software products, including cross-team workflows
- Analyze, review, and document test results, collaborating with developers to resolve issues
- Identify gaps in test coverage and prioritize new test cases
- Work with developers, product managers, and designers to align testing with business and product requirements
- Promote and strengthen a culture of quality awareness within the team
Requirements
- Degree or completed vocational training in IT or comparable qualification, with professional experience in software testing or test automation
- Unrestricted authorization to work in Germany (no visa sponsorship or support for work permits tied to student status)
- Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress, plus 3+ years overall in test automation
- Experience with API and integration testing
- Solid understanding of software testing principles (test design techniques, BDD, ISTQB foundation-level knowledge)
- Strong analytical skills, structured independent working style, quality mindset, team-oriented, reliable, communicative
- English at full-business proficiency level (German a plus)

Hiring process
