Test Automation Lead/Architect (QA Automation)

Location: Belgium; hybrid work with up to 70% from home and the option to work abroad for up to 45 days.

What you will do

• Define and implement test automation strategies, frameworks, and scalable solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and support QA professionals while maintaining quality standards and best practices.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Evaluate tools, conduct proof-of-concepts and assessments, and drive innovation in automation.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align automation roadmaps with business goals.
• Work hands-on in automation activities while leading a test automation team or project.

Requirements

• Must live in Belgium and speak Dutch and English.
• Approximately 8–10 years of experience in test automation architecture or management.
• Broad experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, BDD/Cucumber, Tosca, Leapwork, Robot Framework, Jira, Xray, ALM QC, and qTest.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, client-environment assessments, ALM-tool integration, and proof-of-concepts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a commercial attitude, independence, teamwork, proactivity, and attention to detail.
