TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Bridgwater, UK (Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week)

What you will do
- Provide technical oversight and guidance for welding activities on pipework installation.
- Develop, review, and qualify welding procedures (WPS/PQR) including testing and new process implementation.
- Monitor weld quality, investigate defects, and ensure compliance with ITPs and standards.
- Manage materials, consumables, and metallurgy controls for compatibility and traceability.
- Support construction teams with installation issues and oversee welding machinery calibration.
- Promote safety compliance, monitor performance metrics, and liaise with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Expertise in welding engineering, WPS/PQR development, and qualification testing.
- Knowledge of welding codes, standards, materials, and metallurgy.
- Experience with QA/QC, defect analysis, and non-conformance resolution.
- Ability to interpret drawings, weld maps, and provide site technical support.
- Available for onsite work in Bridgwater, UK, Monday-Friday 40 hours/week
