OTC Analyst (Finance)

Location: Hybrid — Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

What you will do

• Support the Global Finance Transformation team with process documentation and transition activities before implementation.
• Manage daily accounts receivable, credit and collection, cash application, invoice requests, billing proposals, and payment processing.
• Control credit exposure, follow up on customer portfolios, resolve disputes, process deductions and write-offs, and update bad debt provisions.
• Prepare general ledger adjustments, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly accounts receivable close activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, cash forecasts, collection files, and monthly portfolio analysis.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, label and publishing divisions, tax, legal, and other business partners on finance projects and customer issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience involving high-volume transaction processing in a financial ERP.
• Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, and S/4HANA.
• Understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, indirect taxes, and service desk operations is desired.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, prioritization, and continuous improvement skills.
• Proficiency in English is required; the position follows a hybrid setup in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin language skills, depending on the assigned portfolio.
