Local IT Technician (IT Support)

Location: Office-based in Mainz (Germany), Saint-Mandé, or Paris (France). Candidates must have valid work authorization in Germany.

What you will do

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for end users.
• Manage incidents, requests, and local infrastructure, including servers and networks.
• Provision and maintain employee work environments.
• Ensure security policies and best practices are applied across the site.
• Coordinate with external vendors and maintain the IT asset inventory.
• Build and update technical documentation and support events and meetings.

Requirements

• Relevant education in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support for workstations, laptops, and smartphones.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office suite, SCCM, and Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of networking, cabling, and ability to perform manual labor.
• Good English skills (spoken and written).
• Valid work authorization in Germany; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Linux and Mac OS X.
• Scripting ability (PowerShell, batch files).
• Knowledge of multimedia equipment and agile methodologies.
• Certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or MCP.
